About the Academy

APPNA Academy
of Medicine

The APPNA Academy of Medicine (AAM) is the educational arm of
APPNA, operating within the Education Advisory Council that unifies all
education committees of APPNA. It serves as the single platform for
CME programs, certificate programs, online fellowships, and
institutional partnerships — advancing physician education across
North America and globally.

Mission & Vision

What we stand for

Built on the principles of Knowledge, Care, and Service — guiding every
program we offer.

01 — Our Mission

Our Mission

The APPNA Academy of Medicine serves as the preeminent educational vehicle for North American physicians of Pakistani descent to transfer knowledge, expertise, and innovation to global healthcare systems. We bridge the gap between world-class medical training and clinical practice in underserved regions — through accredited CME, fellowship programs, and institutional partnerships that carry the full academic credibility of APPNA.

02 — Our Vision

Our Vision

To become the leading academic institution for Pakistani-American physicians — producing physician leaders, researchers, and educators who advance the standard of care globally. We envision a world where every APPNA physician has access to high-quality, accredited continuing medical education regardless of geography, and where APPNA's academic reputation is recognized by medical institutions worldwide.

Our Core Values

Three principles, one identity

Scientia

Knowledge

We pursue the highest standards of medical knowledge — through rigorous curriculum, ACCME-accredited content, and faculty who are leaders in their fields. Learning is the foundation of everything we do.

Cura

Care

Excellence in patient care is the purpose behind every program we deliver. We train physicians not just to know more, but to do more — for their patients, their communities, and the global health ecosystem.

Servitium

Service

Service to our medical community and to global healthcare is the reason APPNA exists. The Academy extends that mission — bringing education, mentorship, and opportunity to physicians wherever they practice.

Governance

Education Advisory Council

The Education Advisory Council (EAC) is the governing body of the APPNA Academy. It
aligns all education committees, guides policy-level reforms, and coordinates educational
strategy across APPNA. Chaired by Dr. Danish Bhatti, the EAC brings together the chairs
of all five committees under one strategic platform.
