New Fellowship Program in
Interventional Cardiology
Approved for 2024 Enrollment
The Academic Board has officially ratified the curriculum for the Advanced
Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology, marking a significant milestone in postgraduate clinical training.
Program Overview
The Medical Academy of Continuing Education is proud to announce the approval of its latest sub-specialty program. This intensive two-year fellowship is designed to produce independent practitioners capable of performing high-complexity percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and structural heart procedures.
Candidates will be exposed to a high-volume clinical environment, integrating evidence- based medicine with cutting-edge procedural techniques under the mentorship of internationally recognized faculty.
CORE ACCREDITATION STANDARDS
Fully accredited by the Global Medical Accreditation Board (GMAB).
Adheres to the COCATS 4 Level 3 training requirements for Interventional Cardiology.
Integrated clinical research requirement with mandatory peer reviewed publication.
Facility Access
Fellows will have 24/7 access to the Academy's Advanced Simulation Laboratory and the Clinical Research Suite. The program includes sponsorship for two international cardiology congresses per academic year, provided research criteria are met.
